We are introducing a new generation of digital cables called Prism. They has been designed for high-end digital connections. Superior build quality, high level materials were used to meet expectations of demanding customers. The Prism digital cable provides true high end performance and makes digital experience closer to what we hear when listening to analog.
The design uses uncompromising monocrystal copper conductors, hand-polished. The insulator is air and Teflon. Three-layer, wideband shielding.
Prism is available in a four versions. As:
USB 2.0 type A to B :
75 Ω with BNC connectors:
Prism BNC D-355B
SPDiF 75 Ω version with RCA connectors:
Prism RCA D-451R
AES/EBU 110 Ω with XLR connectors:
Prism XLR D-551X
The standard length of all cables is 1.2 m, for greater connection comfort, but also for sonic benefit.
These cables make digital devices sound as if we were listening to an analog turntable, with its dynamics, color, resolution and spatial freedom. There is no trace of the compresion or the fatyguing, mechanical character of sound often associated with digital reproduction.
Prism represents great value for money in worldwide digital cable range.
SPECIFICATION
Conductors: pure monocrystal copper, hand-polished
The sound was highly resolving, precise, spatial, and teeming with details and subtleties, and yet I wouldn’t call it analytical or cold (which I don’t like). Instead, it was relaxed, effortless, smooth when needed, and super-dynamic and energetic when recordings demanded it. Hifi Knights
From now on I will keep KBL Sound cables on my list of highly recommended cables, and it won’t be only analog and power ones anymore. The digital ones seem as good as any other product by this brand I had a chance to review so far. HifiKnights
